Being able to produce cheese is a valuable asset to many of our farms in Harford County, as it creates sustainable market that is high in demand from residents and visitors alike. Creating a trail to highlight our local farms allows for our agriculture industry in Harford to strengthen even more. Some of these stops are included on Harford’s Ice Cream Trail and Barn Quilt Trail.

Visitors to the Chocolate and Cheese Trail will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of artisanal chocolates and cheeses. Along the way, they will also have the chance to learn about the history and techniques behind these delicious creations from the knowledgeable staff at each location.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Chocolate and Cheese Trail,” said Mary Stewart, owner of Fawn View Farm. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase our farm and our cheese to visitors from around the region. We find that trails like this one allow people to learn about some places that they might not have found out about otherwise.”
