Harford Mutual Insurance Group Wins 2022 Top Workplace Awards
Bel Air, Md. – Harford Mutual Insurance Group has been awarded 2022 Top Workplaces honors by Baltimore Sun Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of.”
In addition to making the list for 2022, HMIG was ranked in the TOP 3 of mid-size employers and was honored with the 2022 Top Workplace for LEADERSHIP. Based on this same survey, Harford Mutual Insurance Group received top Culture Excellence honors for Professional Development, Employee Appreciation, and Employee Well-Being.
Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards celebrate organizations that excel in specific areas of workplace culture. The Employee Well-Being Top Workplaces award celebrates organizations who put the health and wellness of their employees at the center of their workplace culture. The Employee Appreciation Top Workplaces award celebrates organizations who demonstrate gratefulness for the efforts of employees, and that employees reciprocate by being motivated to give their best at work. The Professional Development Top Workplaces award celebrates organizations who focus on developing their employee’s careers and enable them to grow professionally.
“Receiving these honors based on our employee feedback makes the Top Workplaces awards especially meaningful,” says Harford Mutual President and CEO Steve Linkous. “Our employees are the foundation of our business, and it is their commitment that will allow us to navigate challenges and shape our path moving forward.”
