In fiscal year 2020, the Harford County Cultural Arts Advisory Board facilitated investment of over $145,000 into Harford County through grants to artists and nonprofit organizations while reprioritizing programs to respond to extremely difficult times.  This year, the board has made a commitment to formally link its grantmaking to IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) principles and has embarked on a multi-year community-wide project to celebrate diversity through themes of equality, dignity, truth, and beauty.

Board chair Chuck Bowden explains, “A passionate and engaged advisory board is critical to advance our efforts to cultivate the arts throughout our entire community.”
