Dog of the Week- Jax

Pit-corgi? Lab-basset? Rottie-doxie? Beats me, but what I do know is I’m Jax! It’s hard to tell from my pictures, but I’m a man of short stature. I barely reach most knees but I’m only one year old and have a lot of fun energy! I will wear myself out with a good game of fetch or tug. I know “sit” and “come” but willing to learn if you’ll teach me more! I love, love, LOVE people! Even the little ones that I’ve met so far. I’m uneasy around other dogs so far here and I’ve never heard of a cat. Will it throw me a ball?

Cat of the Week- Lasagna

Lasagna here, and I’m a sleepy ol’ girl who is a little annoyed that you ruined my nap! After almost 14 years on this planet, my entire world was turned upside down and I ended up in the shelter. My guardian suddenly found herself in need of long term medical care and her last errand was to drop me off at the shelter so I could be cared for. Although the sound of a shaking treat bag always perks me up, it’s still a tough adjustment and I can’t wait for the day a very special will decide to open up their home and heart to me. The name Lasagna suits me because I have many different layers- sweet, shy, playful, cheesy.  I’m really a delightful purrball ready to give lots of love!

Critter of the Week- Regina 

Get in, loser. We’re going shopping! …for bunny supplies so you can take me home! I’m Regina George and the shelter thought I could be a bit of a mean girl but really, I was just pregnant and craving cheese fries (at just a year old, boo!). My babies have all been adopted, which is good because they were on my last nerve! Switch! But now I’m left here alone like a homeschooled jungle freak wondering if butter is a carb. So bring me home and I’ll love you like a martian and we can make fetch happen and wear pink on Wednesdays!
