Dog of the Week- Rocket

Rocket is a 2 year old cuddle bug that captures hearts with his goofy antics and endless energy.. Despite his adorably giant ears, Rocket is deaf. He makes up for it with his big heart and playful personality. Rocket’s favorite activity is running around the play yard and being carried around by people he loves. This sweet pup is eagerly awaiting his forever home, where he can bring endless love and laughter to his new family.  

We brought Rocket to @Pooles Island Brewing Company this weekend and he was wonderful with every person, dog, and kid he met! Thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation his adoption fee is waived through May 15th! Come see why we all love this special boy!

Cat of the Week- Snickers

They say Snickers really satisfies…your craving for a cat! 13 year old Snickers is waiting for his second chance home! He’s cat friendly and has all the wonderful Siamese qualities people love. He’s talkative and loves attention. If you walk in the room, his insistent meow is going to make sure you come say hello and scratch him behind the ears.

Critter of the Week- Snickers and Twix

Snickers here reporting for WPIG-TV, and I’m here on the scene at the animal shelter with my sister Twix. Things are bright and cheery in the critter room where I’m sitting, but not an empty cage can be seen. A spokesperson here tells me that guinea pigs make wonderful friends. “There are so many great reasons to be a hero and adopt,” a counselor tells me. “Guinea pigs will learn the sound of your voice and make cute little squeals when you enter the room!” This has been Snickers and Twix for WPIG network news.
