The funds raised go to the Harford County Association of REALTORS® Charitable and Educational Foundation
The Harford County Association of REALTORS® (HarCAR) recently hosted its sixth annual Battle of the Brokerages guest bartender event at MaGerks Pub in Bel Air.
During the event, REALTORS® from area brokerages served as guest bartenders and competed to raise the most tips. This year over $10,000 was raised in two hours. Tips raised went to the HarCAR Charitable and Educational Foundation.
The mission of the HarCAR Charitable and Educational Foundation is to provide college scholarships for students with a financial need who live in Harford County to attend a Maryland College.
“We are truly humbled by the funds raised at this year’s Battle of the Brokerages event,” said HarCAR President Sandra Hopkins. “Each year the event continues to grow which helps us support even more students in Harford County. We’re already looking forward to an even bigger event next year!”

This year’s winning brokerage was Long & Foster Real Estate. Garceau Realty placed second and American Premier Realty placed third.
