Dog of the Week- Chubby Checker
Come on baby, let’s do the twist! Chubby Checker is a loving wiggle butt who never met a belly rub he didn’t like. The first thing you’ll notice about this happy rescue pup is his 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye! Checker is also a huge fanatic about water. Just squirt the hose in his direction and The Game. Is. On! But at the end of the day, he just loves a good cuddle. He’s met a few dogs here at the shelter and has been nothing but a playful goofball. Come say hello to Checker today!
Cat of the Week- Nacho
Not to be cheesy, but Nacho is grate! Six year old Nacho is your typical friendly orange guy. He loves to be stroked and talked to while watching reruns of Garfield and Heathcliff. If you call his name, he just melts and starts rolling around. He’ll always find the coziest spot in the room to sleep. He gets along with other cats, in fact, 3 of his gouda friends are still here too, if you’re looking for more to love. Havarti said it, but Nacho is mild on the spicy kitty scale in queso were wondering.

Parsley and Ginger are two staples of the culinary world, and would love to also be a staple in your family! These bonded girls are a riot. You can find them digging in some hay, or curling up in their igloo. They look forward to their daily veggies in true piggie fashion.
