Dog of the Week- Lemon
One year old Lemon is a shy girl who gets to know and trust her people slowly, but once she does, she’s a loyal pal. We have no idea what kind of mix she is, but it’s a cute one! She’s learning lots of new faces here at the shelter and just needs a family to allow her to take things at her own pace. Volunteers took Lemon for an adventure day and said she was a good girl, even in the car, just a little nervous. If you’re interested in a friend like Lemon, come on in!
Cat of the Week- Rexy
Rexy aka Purrosaurus Rex is a 15.5 year old boy on the prowl for a quiet, comfy home to spend his golden years snoozing peacefully on a cozy blanket and soaking up the sun. But you can be sure he’ll come running if he hears a can of food opening! He’s a sweet old man who is on daily meds for hyperthyroidism, but other than that he’s still got a playful side and loves being scratched behind the ears. Come meet this purr-monster in person and fall in love with a senior!
Critter of the Week- Eggnog
‘Tis the season for all the holiday favorites, like Eggnog! If you’re looking for that warm, fuzzy feeling, it’s all here, wrapped up in this 3 year old girl’s fluffy tail. She’s curious about anything you put in front of her and will immediately start checking out a new toy or your camera. If you like your Eggnog with a little “kick”, try giving her a carrot! The best part is that this Eggnog can be enjoyed all year round.
