The Harford County Association of REALTORS® Hosts “Harford Housing: A Local Outlook”

The Harford County Association of REALTORS® (HarCAR) recently hosted its fourth annual “Harford Housing: A Local Outlook” program at the STAR Center in Havre de Grace.

The program featured Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly, Harford County Council President Patrick Vincenti, City of Aberdeen Council President Adam Hiob, Town of Bel Air Mayor Kevin Bianca, and City of Havre De Grace Mayor Bill Martin. During the program, municipality leaders answered questions about topics important to residents.

This year’s topics included:

  • Access to attainable housing
  • The Amtrak Susquehanna Bridge Project
  • Accessory Dwelling Unit code
  • Revitalization of the Route 40 corridor
  • Development projects in Perryman, downtown Bel Air, etc.
  • And much more

“It was a great pleasure to take part in HarCAR’s annual ‘Harford Housing: A Local Outlook’ event,” said County Council President Vincenti. “The event is a wonderful opportunity to address housing related topics and projects that are important to our community. We look forward to continuing to improve Harford County and keeping it a great place to live.”

The program will air on Harford TV throughout August on Sundays at 7 p.m. (Armstrong channel 7 & HD 101, Comcast channel 21 & HD 1084, Verizon channel 31).

Amy Jahnigen, Chair of the Harford County Association of REALTORS® State of the Municipalities Task Force served as moderator.
