Dog of the Week – ROCKOTACO
Age: 3 years
Color: Black & White
Breed: Mixed Breed
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $50

My name is RockoTaco and I’m an outgoing, high-energy pup who loves making new friends! I’m an XL-sized dog and I have an XL kind heart and lots of love to give. My favorite place to hang out is right by your side! I’m good with other dogs and love long walks and playing fetch and dog play sessions, maybe even hit the pool! I have a ton of energy and I’m always up for a good game or two of tug of war – I’m loyal, friendly, and I know a few commands like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘come’. I also love to snuggle up and watch a movie. I’m a great pup to have in the family; I’m smart, obedient, and will make a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for the perfect pup to share your home and your life with, then look no further! I’m all yours.
Cat of the Week – JG WENTWORTH
Age: 8 years
Color: Brown Tabby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25

Remember that commercial? The one that goes: “I live alone and need a cat now! Call J.G. Wentworth! 877-CATS-NOW! I have an empty lap and need a cat now! Call J.G. Wentworth! 877-CATS-NOW!” Okay, okay, so maybe I’m remembering it a little differently but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re here because you’re in need of a new furry friend. Lucky for you, I can help you with that! I’m the kind of kitty who will love to sit on your lap and snuggle up with you at night. I’m also an excellent watch-cat because I enjoy finding high-up places to perch and look out over the room and keep an eye on things. I would like to find a low-stress home with no other animals or children because I struggle with IBS. Currently, my condition is being managed with a prescription diet and probiotics but a calm, quiet home will help as well. By now you’re probably picking up the phone to call 877-CATS-NOW but put down your phone and come on down to the shelter!
Critter of the Week – MIMOSA
Age: unknown
Color: Grey
Breed: Rabbit
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25

Mix equal parts of orange juice with sprite, garnish with a strawberry and serve! Hi, I’m Mimosa, a refreshingly bubbly and effervescent lop-eared boy who loves to be held and brushed. I enjoy foraging for a tasty leafy treat and nudging and tossing my toys in the air (like I just don’t care). Can you believe I was found in a box just down the street from the shelter at Annie’s Playground? Raise your fluted stemware for a toast to the Good Samaritan who found and rescued me so I can be a cherished, cuddly companion to someone special. Who knows, I just might be your dream guy!
