We began in September 2021 with a single peer support group for new moms in Harford County, MD. “After Baby Club” gained popularity quickly, and it was soon clear that community need was greater and more pressing than we initially imagined. We incorporated under the name Rooted Willow Community in spring 2022 and have been growing ever since.
Rooted Willow Community is a self-started nonprofit organization. We are incorporated under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and registered as a nonprofit corporation with the state of Maryland. We are registered in both states as a charitable organization qualified to accept donations. We have received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS, meaning donations to our organization are tax deductible.
We have big plans and dreams and are forward-focused with an emphasis on organic, tempered, sustainable growth. There is a clear need and desire for our programming, and we anticipate that we will continue to grow steadily over the coming months and years.

About our Features of the Week:
One of our goals is to help raise awareness for several different causes, diseases, and more. Each week we feature a Non-Profit of the Week for you, so please visit these organizations and share their information. Your organization may be the Harford County Living Non-Profit of the Week in the future.
