The Highlands School, an independent school for bright students with language-based learning differences, recently honored Cece Davis (Class of 2022) with an instruction room in her name.
Cece joined The Highlands School in fifth grade and will graduate this year. She will attend Beacon College in the fall.
“The Highlands School truly changed not only Cece’s life, but our entire family,” said Cece’s father Evan Davis. “The Highlands School has opened so many doors for Cece and we are honored that her legacy is now cemented there.”
“Cece is a remarkable student who has made a lasting impact on our faculty and staff,” said Kim Kujala, Educational Director of Classroom Instruction and Programs. “It has been incredible watching her grow over the years. Her confidence has soared at The Highlands School, and I know she will go on the do great things in college and beyond!”
The Highlands School will host a graduation ceremony on May 27 to celebrate Cece and her fellow graduates.

Founded in 1996, The Highlands School was originally located in Street, Maryland. In 2007, The Highlands School moved to a beautiful 18-acre campus in Bel Air, Maryland that was once home to the Preakness-winning racehorse Deputed Testamony.
