Two goals, one health care mission for our community

Caring for Our Families Together

Providing high-quality care for our neighbors requires collaboration and support of our entire community.  With key partnerships serving as the foundation for UM UCH’s success, private and philanthropic funding allows us to meet the diverse needs of Harford County, offering flexible and affordable care that is close to home.

With the opportunity at UM UCH to support programs, initiatives, and technology, you can join this effort and play a critical role in the future of Harford County’s health.

GOAL 1

Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center

For those in our community moving through the cancer journey, Cancer LifeNet is a source of strength and comfort.

As part of the Kaufman Cancer Center, Cancer LifeNet connects patients with experts, support teams, and communities of survivors to create a holistic approach to treatment and care for patients and families who need it.

Curing the disease is one medical aspect of the work; bringing patients and families to spiritual, financial, and emotional wholeness captures the essence of Cancer LifeNet.

It is local caregivers providing local support to friends, neighbors, and families when it is needed most.

GOAL 2

The Klein Family Harford Crisis Center

In partnership with Harford County Government, Healthy Harford, the Harford County Health Department, and various other community agencies, UM UCH has developed the Klein Family Harford Crisis Center.

This Center has been a vision of our leadership volunteers and stakeholders including the late Andrew P. Klein who proudly served as Honorary Co-Chairman of Your Health, Our Mission; Caring for Our Families Together campaign.

The Klein Family Harford Crisis Center, the first of its kind in the state of Maryland, provides access and immediacy to care through a 24/7 call center and walk-in clinic, as well as private rooms for patient assessment, triage, and care. Through the power of partnerships and philanthropy, the Klein Family Harford Crisis Center will help our neighbors experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis during their time of need.
