They all need a loving home

Dog of the Week – ELLIE

Age: 3 years

Color: Butterscotch

Breed: Mixed Breed

Gender: Female

Adoption Fee: $25
What do you get when you cross a dog and a butterscotch candy? Me! Hi, my name is Ellie and I am as sweet as they come. If my beautiful butterscotch coat and soft brown eyes don’t draw you in, my personality definitely will. I am a fun-loving gal with a lot of love to give. I love rolling around on the ground and I’m a bit of a tomboy when it comes to having fun in the yard, but I give the sweetest, most gentle kisses. I love having my head pet and spending quality time with my people. I would love a warm lap to rest my head on and a family to call my own. Have I won your heart yet? Cat of the Week – MOMMA

Age: 7 years

Color: Black & White

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix

Gender: Female

Adoption Fee: $25

Charles Dickens once said, “What greater gift than the love of a cat”, and that’s exactly what you’ll get from me. Hey there, my name is Momma and my best gift to you is my love. I just melt when you feed me and bring a brush out to run through my fur. Heavenly! Following my meal, I like to make biscuits with my paws and snuggle into a good nap. I promise I’m a sweet girl with a lot to offer. I’ve been really wanting to make a best friend; someone to watch my favorite shows and eat my snacks with. Come and meet me and I promise within seconds, we’ll both fall in love with each other. So how about it? Critter of the Week – ROO PAUL

Age: unknown

Color: Gold & Black

Breed: Bantam Rooster

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $10

Hi friends, I’m RooPaul and I’m friendly, fantastic and fabulous! I’m a small little bantam rooster who loves to strike a pose with my gorgeous golden tail feathers. I’m pretty easygoing about being held, and I love getting veggie treats! The staff here think I might be a golden laced cochin but they’re not 100 percent sure. What they are sure about is that I’d make an excellent addition to your barnyard or backyard flock. Get an appointment to meet me by emailing adopt@harfordshelter.org!
