For the 32nd consecutive year, Harford County government has earned the Government Finance Association’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. The award recognizes governments that meet national guidelines for how well their budget serves as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device.
“This award is an honor every year, but I’m especially proud to have earned it in uncertain times brought on by the pandemic,” County Executive Barry Glassman said. “I would like to thank my Budget Chief Kim Spence and her team for their outstanding work on behalf of our citizens.”
