Local winners of Be More Inspired Wedding Studio’s Giveaway will wed in fine style this Friday—and their heartwarming story makes the gift truly priceless!

BEL AIR, MD (August 6, 2014) – Be More Inspired Wedding Studio is thrilled to announce that the winners of our Wedding Giveaway, Karen Reed and Matt Schroeder, will tie the knot this Friday, August 8, in a lavish ceremony and celebration at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air.

Although the winning couple was selected in a drawing, their incredible journey to the wedding of their dreams this Friday could not be more compelling or heartwarming. Reed and Schroeder met in high school in 1996, began dating at age 19 and became engaged in 2003. Ever since, they have been joyfully building their lives with a home and three children, Tyler, 8, Trevor, 2, and Taylor, 1. But just when they decided to complete their happiness by tying the knot this year, the Polar Vortex of last winter cruelly demonstrated that it had other plans for them. The frigid temperatures burst pipes in their home, virtually destroying it. The exorbitant costs of rebuilding had seemingly put the wedding they wished for on hold indefinitely. Little did the devastated pair know that fate would intervene in their favor when Reed entered the Be More Inspired Wedding Giveaway on February 27 at the Eat, Drink and Be Married bridal show at Rockfield Manor.  A few days later, on Schroeder’s birthday, Reed received a call from Bridget Moore, owner of K&B Bridals, informing them they were the lucky winners of Be More Inspired’s Wedding Giveaway. “We just could not believe it,” says Reed. “We are so grateful for this awesome opportunity and to be able to work with such amazing people, and we really can’t wait to celebrate this wedding!”

Reed and Schroeder will enjoy the following free services from the Be More Inspired Wedding Studio partners this Friday: a bridal gown valued up to $1,250 from K&B Bridals; bridal accessories valued up to $300 from Faye Daniel Designs; a bridal bouquet, matron of honor bouquet, two boutonnieres and ceremony flowers valued up to $650 from Blush Floral Design Studio; and day of wedding coordinator services valued up to $1,200 from Moore & Co. Event Stylists.

The Be More Inspired Wedding Studio partners could not be more excited to give this beautiful celebration to a couple who would not otherwise have had a wedding at all. “When I called to tell them they had won,” says Bridget Moore, owner of K&B Bridals, “Karen was so overjoyed and was practically in tears. She said this had completely changed their year, as everything up to that point had been going so terribly for them. The Be More Inspired partners love working together on events, and we love giving back to the community we live and work in. What better way to partner than on this type of event?”

Reed and Schroeder also will enjoy the following free services from some of the area’s most prestigious wedding vendors: a Here Come the Bride Package valued up to $320 from Lavish Salon and Spa; a ceremony and reception held at Rockfield Manor; catering with a food credit of $1,500 provided by The Manor Tavern; photography services valued up to $1,200 from Unveiled Faces by Jennilyn; and a wedding dessert package valued up to $475 from Flavor Cupcakery.
