Local winners of Be More Inspired Wedding Studio’s Giveaway will wed in fine style this Friday—and their heartwarming story makes the gift truly priceless!
BEL AIR, MD (August 6, 2014) – Be More Inspired Wedding Studio is thrilled to announce that the winners of our Wedding Giveaway, Karen Reed and Matt Schroeder, will tie the knot this Friday, August 8, in a lavish ceremony and celebration at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air.
Although the winning couple was selected in a drawing, their incredible journey to the wedding of their dreams this Friday could not be more compelling or heartwarming. Reed and Schroeder met in high school in 1996, began dating at age 19 and became engaged in 2003. Ever since, they have been joyfully building their lives with a home and three children, Tyler, 8, Trevor, 2, and Taylor, 1. But just when they decided to complete their happiness by tying the knot this year, the Polar Vortex of last winter cruelly demonstrated that it had other plans for them. The frigid temperatures burst pipes in their home, virtually destroying it. The exorbitant costs of rebuilding had seemingly put the wedding they wished for on hold indefinitely. Little did the devastated pair know that fate would intervene in their favor when Reed entered the Be More Inspired Wedding Giveaway on February 27 at the Eat, Drink and Be Married bridal show at Rockfield Manor. A few days later, on Schroeder’s birthday, Reed received a call from Bridget Moore, owner of K&B Bridals, informing them they were the lucky winners of Be More Inspired’s Wedding Giveaway. “We just could not believe it,” says Reed. “We are so grateful for this awesome opportunity and to be able to work with such amazing people, and we really can’t wait to celebrate this wedding!”
