Maryland’s 9/11 rolling memorial, the Hope and Peace Float, will be visiting the Quad (the grassy area near the Student Center) on the Harford Community College campus on April 22 from 12 to 2 PM. There will also be a video presentation in the Globe Café located in the Student Center. All are welcome to attend.

Maryland’s 9/11 rolling memorial has been featured at over 200 events across the states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina since 2016. Attendees are humbled to read the names of those killed on 9/11 and in the wars since that horrific day and to be able to see and touch steel from the North Tower of the World Trade Center and stone from the Pentagon.

There will also be artifacts on display from Ground Zero and the Pentagon along with personal items from those killed on 9/11 or who responded during the aftermath. Each of the artifacts tells a story of survival, resilience and of loss.
