Congratulations To Our Restaurant Of The Week
Pappas Restaurant & Sports Bar
About the Restaurant:
The Pappas family has been guarding the secret recipe for Pappas’ Famous Crab Cake since 1972. Mark Pappas, the man behind the crab cake, came to the US from Greece in 1956, and settled in Baltimore. He worked hard and eventually bought the Mount Vernon Restaurant. In the early 1970s, he opened Pappas Restaurant & Sports Bar in Parkville, Baltimore County. The restaurant became popular, and Pappas developed a diverse menu that included his famous seven-ounce crab cake. Today, Pappas has four locations and the crab cake has gained popularity, appearing in various magazines and TV channels. The Pappas family is excited to serve the Harford County community and continue their tradition for years to come.
