Harford County farmers can drop off used tires from their agricultural equipment and vehicles, free of charge, at the Harford Waste Disposal Center from May 15 to 19, 2023. Tires will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. Participation is restricted to farms located in Harford County. Proof of Harford County residency is required.
There is no limit to the number or size of tires that will be accepted, and tires may be on or off the rim.
Participants are encouraged to bring their tires early. There is a funding cap for this event and the County reserves the right to stop accepting tires once the threshold has been reached.
Non-farm businesses, contractors, haulers, and individuals are not eligible to participate in this program. More information about tire recycling for non-farm customers is available on the county website at https://bit.ly/2RGdc03.
The agricultural tire recycling program is made possible by the Harford County Department of Public Works, the Harford County Farm Bureau, the Maryland Farm Bureau, the Maryland Department of the Environment, and the Maryland Environmental Service.
