About the Business:
Polite Pooches is a dog training company that has been helping dogs and their owners since 2008 through positive reinforcement training and behavior modification. Kathy Forthman, the owner and lead dog trainer, has been involved in pet dog manners for 18 years and holds a BS in Psychology and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator in 2014, and she is also a Certified Fear Free Trainer. Kathy has owned five Standard Poodles and currently has two, Jenny and Mya. Jenny has earned her AKC CGC title and Trick Dog Novice (TKN) title.
