Mental illnesses are conditions that affect a person’s thinking, mood, and behavior. These disorders can manifest in different ways, and they may vary in severity from mild to severe. Some common mental illnesses include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. Mental illnesses can be caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, and social factors. People with mental illnesses may experience symptoms such as persistent sadness, fear, confusion, or irritability, and these symptoms can significantly affect their daily lives. It is important for individuals with mental illnesses to seek professional help and support from loved ones to manage their conditions effectively.
