The Daily Record has named Sarah Klein, Klein’s Family Markets Director of Front-End Operations, to its 2023 Top 100 Women.
A panel of business and legal professionals, previous Maryland’s Top 100 Women honorees from throughout the state, and a representative of The Daily Record reviewed the final applications After over 400 nominations and two rounds of judging, based on her professional achievement, community leadership and mentoring, Klein was selected as one of this year’s nominees.
“I’m honored and humbled to be named to the Daily Record’s Maryland Top 100 Women,” Klein said. “It’s a privilege not only to represent Klein’s Family Markets philanthropy and community-values but to serve as a mentor and female leader.”
As Klein’s Family Markets Community Relations and Front-End Operations Director, Klein oversees Klein’s ShopRite of Maryland’s charitable foundation. Outside of her role at Klein’s, she serves on myriad charitable boards including Albert P. Close Foundation Board, Char Hope Foundation Board, Greater Bel Air Community Foundation Board, Harford County Sheriff’s Foundation Board, John Carroll School Board and The Next Generation Leadership Council (NextGen) of the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation.

Maryland’s Top 100 Women was founded in 1996 to recognize outstanding achievements by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring.
On May 8th, Maryland’s Top 100 Women will be honored with a reception and awards celebration at The Lyric Baltimore.
