Harford County Executive Cassilly Statement on $12 million in Grants for Rural Broadband Expansion

Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly issued the following statement after $12 million in Maryland Connect funds for expansion of rural high-speed internet in Harford County was announced:

“I am pleased that Harford County’s request for grant funding to further expand rural high-speed internet access has been fulfilled by the State. Leveraging $12 million in Connect Maryland funding, broadband access will continue to be expanded in areas such as Darlington, Norrisville, Pylesville, and Whiteford. I extend my thanks to Governor Moore and the Office of Statewide Broadband for their investment in Harford County, as well as our dedicated team of County employees who are committed to reaching every corner of Harford County with high-speed internet access.”
