The Harford County Association of REALTORS® (HarCAR) recently collected money and supplies for the Humane Society of Harford County and hosted a trivia night where they raised money for Mason Dixon Community Services as part of its ongoing support of local charities.
The Harford County Humane Society is dedicated to the well-being and welfare of thousands of animals annually. They offer numerous services including but not limited to:
· Helping with lost & found pets
· Training and consultation for canines
· Low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine services
· Providing free pet food for people with financial struggles
Mason-Dixon Community Services is committed to providing emergency food and energy assistance to low-income residents in York and Harford Counties. They offer several services including but not limited to:
· Holiday giving programs
· Financial assistance
· Children youth programs
· Food assistance services
“We are delighted to give back to the local nonprofits that do essential work within our community. Our members are truly committed to making an impact,” said HarCAR President Linda Rich. “The Humane Society of Harford County and Mason-Dixon Community Services are both incredible organizations and we look forward to continuing to support their work.”
HarCAR donated $500 and a wide variety of pet supplies to the Humane Society of Harford County. HarCAR’s Young Professionals Network coordinated the Humane Society donations. Trivia night, hosted by HarCAR’s networking committee, raised $175 for Mason-Dixon Community Services.
