Harford Community College will hold an Open House for its Early Learning Center (ELC) on Friday, January 27 from 9 AM to 12 noon for parents who are interested in half-day or full-day preschool options for their children ages 2-5 for this coming fall. The Open House will be held at the Early Learning Center on the campus of Harford Community College. The Center is located in HCC’s Forest Hill Center, accessible via Entrance #4 near Joppa Hall.
Our littlest Owls explore learning through social, physical, and academic development at Harford’s Early Learning Center. Interested parents and prospective students are invited to come and meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, meet new friends, and sign up for fall preschool.
The Early Learning Center’s preschool is licensed through Maryland State Department of Education’s Division of Early Childhood and provides a safe, nurturing environment and academic curriculum. In preparation for kindergarten, the staff encourages children of all abilities to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually while gaining a positive self-image. The curriculum incorporates the latest technology, including interactive SMART boards in each classroom and instruction in language arts, math and science, plus art, crafts, drama, and story time.
