The Harford County Association of REALTORS® Raises Over $9k During Battle of the Brokerages Event

The funds raised will go to the Harford County Association of REALTORS® Charitable and Educational Foundation

The Harford County Association of REALTORS® (HarCAR) recently hosted its fifth annual Battle of the Brokerages guest bartender event at MaGerks Pub in Bel Air.

During the event, REALTORS® from area brokerages served as guest bartenders and competed to raise the most tips. This year over $9,000 was raised in two hours. Tips raised went to the HCAR Charitable and Educational Foundation.

The mission of the HCAR Charitable and Education Foundation is to provide college scholarships for students with a financial need who live in Harford County to attend a Maryland College.

“We could not be more thrilled with the record-breaking funds raised at this year’s Battle of the Brokerages event,” said HarCAR CEO Kathy McFadden. “Thanks to the generosity of those who attended this year’s event the Foundation will be able to change the lives of even more students in our community.”

This year’s winning brokerage was Garceau Realty.
