Congratulations To Our Artist Of The Week

Jim Ellis

This week we are happy to feature Jim Ellis as our Artist of the Week.

About the Artist

Jim has had traditional music compositions published and is currently working as a composer for movies and television. Not only has he composed and arranged music for a number of movies and television shows, but he has also worked on more traditional works for the piano, orchestra, bands, and marching bands. In the early 1990s, he attended the University of Maryland, where he held the positions of drum major and student conductor. These days, he is continuing his education at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jim has just recently signed on with Coffee Addict Productions, based in Los Angeles, to compose the score for their upcoming feature picture, Sequence Code, as well as their television show, Abbott Falls.

About our Features of the Week:

One of our goals is to help local Artists in Harford County grow, which is why we constantly remind people and businesses to Support Local. Each week we feature an Artist of the Week for you, so please visit these Artists and share their information. You may be the Harford County Living Artist of the Week in the future.

Artists love free advertising, and this is one way to get it. We have over 20,000 Social Media Followers and millions of hits to our website, so why not take advantage and reach them. Several of them also come on the podcast to talk about their work, and why wouldn’t they? It’s free to come on and has over 500,000 downloads.

If you would like to be featured or nominate someone as the Artist of the Week, please email rbennett@harfordcountyliving.com and a questionnaire will be sent to you.
