Nicki Jergensen
This week we are happy to feature Nicki Jergensen as our Artist of the Week.
About the Artist
Nicki Jergensen is a highly successful, experienced Art instructor and artist with a Master’s degree and over 25 years of teaching. She has taught at two Title I middle schools, one of which was a Visual Arts Magnet School, and is known for her work with children who achieve through differentiation and creative thinking. Nicki has helped pupils excel at the Highlands School, a school for students with learning disabilities, and has been the Art Specialist for the Harford County Government for many years. She has taught programs for persons with disabilities via the Harford County Public Library, including the Art Shop at Aberdeen. Nicki has worked with students with autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and social-emotional needs.
