Home Of Harford County’s Favorite Local Ice Cream Stop

Congratulations To Our Restaurant Of The Week

Broom’s Bloom Dairy

This week we are proud to feature Broom’s Bloom Dairy as our Restaurant of the Week.

About the Restaurant

Let us start by congratulating Broom’s Bloom Dairy on winning the 2021 Harford County Living Choice Award for Favorite Local Ice Cream Shop.

Broom’s Bloom is an intriguing synthesis of ancestors and fresh beginnings. The farm and house date all the way back to the early 1700’s and are currently supporting the Dallam family’s ninth generation. The property is named after the area’s historic land grant. David and Kate Dallam began milking 65 cows on their farm in 1997 and, more recently, began manufacturing and selling old-fashioned ice cream, farmstead cheese, and pig sausage. Their animals are fed a natural grain and forage diet and are not given any growth hormones.
