Dog of the Week – ORTON

Age: 3.5 years

Color: Brindle

Breed: Mixed Breed

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $84

Are you watching the Olympics? I coulda totally made the ski jumping team because I’m an incredible athlete. But instead, I’m here and my only audience is the shelter’s staff and volunteers *sigh. I’m Orton, and my favorite thing in the world is playing fetch and carrying toys and sticks! If you toss me a stick, I’ll propel myself up into the sky to get it. It’s pretty cool to watch! I’m pretty easy to walk except when I see a stick that I really want, I’ll carry it even if it’s bigger than me! I hope we can set up a time to meet soon so I can show you why they call me Sportin’ Orton, and how I’ve mastered the high jump for the 2024 Summer Games!

Come adopt me please.

Cat of the Week – FRANKIE

Age: 3 years

Color: Grey

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix

Gender: Male

“At long last, love has arrived, and I thank God I’m alive. You’re just too good to be true, can’t take my eyes offa you!”
I’ve waited for you to come and see me and you came! Hey there, my name is Frankie and I’ve got the prettiest sky blue eyes you’ll ever see. You won’t be able to take your eyes off me! I’m a sweet, laid back boy who just wants to be near you, getting all the scratches you offer. Wanna create a loving furrendship with me? If so, then come by the shelter today! We’re open for visitors Monday-Friday from 2-6pm and Saturdays from 12-5pm.

Come adopt me please.

Critter of the Week – COSTELLO

Age: unknown

Color: White

Breed: Leghorn Chicken

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $10

Who’s on first? Is it “Alison”? Perhaps it’s “Veronica”. Hi, I’m Costello, and I’m ready to “pump it up” and join a new flock of hens to watch over and protect. The shelter staff think I’m a Leghorn chicken. You may be wondering where I came from and how I ended up here. Well “accidents will happen” as they say, and I somehow got separated from my farm. No worries though, as I’m safe here and spending my time “watching the detectives”!

Come adopt me please.
