November is Snuggle Season and all animals are just $25 (or less) to adopt
Dog of the Week – BEETLE
Age: 2 years
Color: White & Brown
Breed: Mixed Breed
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25
Are you someone who has to have that first cup of coffee in the morning before you can function? I’m someone who has to roll over and give you a sloppy kiss before I can function! Hi human friend, I’m Beetle. Ask me to sit. Go on now, ask me. Now look how I raise my foot so I can shake your hand! Do I have you wrapped around my little paw yet? Maybe you’ve noticed the way I kick my back leg out when I sit. I call that my kickstand, LOL! I just know we’re destined to meet each other. The shelter is open by appointment, so call 410-836-1090 or email [email protected] to fulfill our mutual destinies!
Cat of the Week – SUNFLOWER
Age: 10 years
Color: Orange & White
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25
“Wherever the sun goes / The sunflower will follow / Through all of the pain / And all of the sorrow.” – Londrelle
That quote speaks perfectly about me. I will always follow you, I’ll be there on our good and bad days, and you can always count on me to make you smile. Hi there, my name is Sunflower and I shine just as bright as the real flower. I’m a pretty laid-back guy but also quite the softy. I really enjoy batting around my mouse toy and looking out the window. I’ll always be waiting for you at the door when you come home from work. Plus, I’m very food motivated so I’ll do just about anything for a chance at a treat. In all honesty, I’ve made a lot of really nice friends here but I’m looking for a best friend. Would you be my purrfect friend? If you’re interested in meeting me, then head over to harfordshelter.org to fill out your adoption application and set up your appointment!
Critters of the Week – CARROT & RANCH
Age: 3 years
Color: Black, Gold & White
Breed: Rabbits
Gender: Males
Adoption Fee: $25
What goes better together than carrots and ranch? Throw a little bit of YOU into the mix, and that’s what we call a party! Hi, we’re the bonded brothers known as Carrot and Ranch, and we’re outgoing, don’t mind being picked up and will gladly hop over and sit in your lap for affection and treats. We appear to be litter box trained – yes, that’s right, bunnies can be trained to go in one spot. Pretty cool, huh. We have also lived with dogs, cats and kids. We also enjoy just chillin’ out, munching on hay, and chewing on our wooden bunny toys. Please call the shelter at 410-836-1090 or email [email protected] to make an appointment to meet us!
