Pets of the Week for November 1, 2021

Russel, Winter & Oswald

They all need a loving home

Dog of the Week – RUSSEL

Age: 2 years

Color: Red

Breed: Mixed Breed

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $25

Fine jewelry, gift cards, and me! Everyone knows that the best gifts come in small packages. My name is Russel and I bet you looked at my picture and thought, “hey, what a cute guy. What’s he doing at the shelter?” Am I right? I’m a charmer for sure, and I’ve wriggled my way into the hearts of all the folks at the shelter. I have them all wrapped around my hairy little paw. They throw me a ball, toss me treats and tell me what a good, sweet boy I am. Personally, I think they’re obsessed with my ears! So whaddaya say? Can you picture us together? If so, the shelter is open by appointment, so call 410-836-1090 or email to schedule your visit!

Come adopt me please.

Cat of the Week – WINTER

Age: 7 years

Color: Brown & Tan Tabby

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix

Gender: Female

Adoption Fee: $25

C’mon, you know you need a warm kitty to help with the frigid temperatures that are coming. I mean, who doesn’t love curling up with a winter cocktail by the fireplace, snuggling up with a blanket and indulging in some quiet time? Hi, I’m Winter and I’m just like a snowflake: unique, stunning and multi-faceted. I like to sit on your lap, but if I see something move out of the corner of my eye, I’m off to pounce, stalk and play. But I’ll be back to reclaim my spot next to you. So what are you waiting for? Head over to to fill out your adoption application and set up your appointment so we can get through this Winter together!

Come adopt me please.

Critter of the Week – OSWALD

Age: unknown

Color: Brown & White

Breed: Pigeon

Gender: unknown

Adoption Fee: $10

Dear Diary, I just found out I can write, pretty cool. I have completed my morning task of flicking tiny pieces of food all over the bottom of my cage. Now I wait for the people here to come and clean it all up. They give me a fresh bowl of food and tomorrow, I will start again. Sometimes I get food in my water. I like watching them change it and then when they start to walk away, I flick food in it. The faster you do it, the funnier the humans react. This never gets old. They keep mentioning this word adoption. Apparently, this is a good thing and means I’ll have a human all my own. Diary, people should send an email to to get an appointment to see me. I’ll keep you posted.

Til tomorrow, Oswald

Come adopt me please.
