CRAFT BEER AND WINE ENTHUSIASTS UNITE AT THE LOCK HOUSE MUSEUM FOR THE THIRD ANNUAL CRAFT BEER AND WINE FESTIVAL

The festival to take place at the Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House in Havre de Grace November 6, 2021

The Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House is excited to announce the Annual Lock House Craft Beer and Wine Festival. This waterfront festival showcases local wineries and breweries. The event will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 1pm to 5pm at the Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House, located in Historic Havre de Grace.

“It gives me great pleasure for the Lock House Craft Beer and Wine Festival to take place in Havre de Grace. The festival gives all who attend a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the historic Lock House Canal grounds as well as the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. I look forward to enjoying the wonderful contribution this event brings to our great City,” stated Mayor Bill Martin.

The festival will feature several local breweries and wineries including Slate Farm Brewery, Heavy Seas Beer, Dogfish Head, Big Oyster Brewery, Evil Genius, Sam Adams, Misfit Winery, Linganore Winery, Olney Winery and Seaglass.

Foodies will enjoy delicious fare from Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Taco Bar Food Truck, and Eat Like a Greek.

The Stack and Store Self Storage Main Stage will feature live music by American Idol Contestant Emma Klein and Tumblehome Band.

“I am so excited to announce that I’ll be performing at the Lock House Craft Beer and Wine Festival! Havre De Grace has always been a special place to me, and I’ve always felt that it is of the utmost importance that we protect its rich history. I’m honored to get the opportunity to perform at this event, which will be raising money for the Susquehanna Museum,” stated Emma Klein, American Idol Contestant and Nashville based singer and songwriter.

Locals and visitors will get a chance to experience some of Maryland’s best wine and craft beer in a fun, casual, waterfront setting. All proceeds will benefit the Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House.

About Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House

The Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House, a 501c3, tells the story of early transportation history along the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal – 19th century canal that transported coal and various products from the interior of Pennsylvania to the ports of Philadelphia, Baltimore, and beyond. The restored lock tender’s home and canal office features a working lock model and the grounds a swing bridge over the granite-lined lock. Exhibits inside tell the stories of economics, people and villages along the 45-mile canal.
