This effort will provide two local families experiencing financial difficulty due to mental healthcare expenses with gifts from the families’ wish lists.
The Adopt-A-Family initiative focuses on the children’s wishes while including caregivers’ needs, and donations of food and daily essentials. In this regard, we are asking for in-kind donations, gift cards, and monetary gifts from the community to support these kids this holiday season. All proceeds will assist in purchasing gifts for the families and with organizational processes to support the Adopt-A-Family campaign as SeizingPsych is entirely run by volunteer efforts.
Community members can help by:
- Selecting an item from the families’ Amazon Wish List and selecting the wish list mailing address at check-out. This will send the gift directly to us to be included in our delivery to the family.

Additionally, this year, upon request, organizations providing $500 or more of in-kind, gift cards, or monetary gifts will be recognized in our marketing of the event as early as one week following receipt of the gift/s.
