The Town of Bel Air and the Bel Air Economic & Community Development Commission (ECDC) held the Town of Bel Air Annual Awards banquet on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Bel Air Armory.

Music Land, located at 200 Gateway Drive, took home top honors as the 2021 Business of the Year. Owner Larry Noto was on hand to receive the coveted award, given by the Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners. The award is bestowed upon a business or individual that places priority on giving back to the community and contributes to the overall economy and culture of Bel Air. Music Land is celebrating their 50th year in business and is grateful for the recognition on this milestone.

The “Archer-Bull Award”, named after prominent 19th century Bel Air architect George Archer and master builder Jacob Bull, was presented by the ECDC. 5 North Main, a building owned by Kevin Jablon, received the award for overall design excellence and rehabilitation. 5 North Main, which once housed the Bel Air Theater and for several years sat vacant until purchased by Jablon, is now home of “CoffeeBar” café, podcast studios and a co-working space managed by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance.
