Harford County Woman Crowned Mrs. Maryland America 2021
Julia Chang Set to Compete at Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas
Julia Chang, 40, of Harford County, is the newly crowned Mrs. Maryland America 2021. The Mrs. Maryland America pageant was held on September 18, 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Baltimore, MD.
Chang is a mom of 3, Health & Fitness Mindset Transformation Coach, Taekwondo master and writer. She has donated her time and services with low-income communities, behavior & mental health clinic, Girl Scouts of America troops, and local residents and small businesses. She is excited to continue her work conducting limiting beliefs workshops around the state as part of her platform, Master your Motivation.
In addition, Chang will make personal appearances throughout the state during her year-long reign, speaking to and for the community about Maryland and the services/products the state provides.
Chang says, “My new role as Mrs. Maryland America 2021 will allow me to teach others how to have a positive mindset in order to achieve personal and professional goals. My favorite quote is by Henry Ford, ‘Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right’. Mindset is everything. Through my own personal journey of rediscovering my identity through life’s changes, I hope to connect with others in a way that is authentic and relatable. I am excited and ready to make an impact”.
The Mrs. Maryland America Pageant features the most accomplished married women in the state of Maryland. Each year, delegates from the surrounding Maryland counties, ranging in age from the 20’s to 50’s, compete for the coveted state title. There are three events: interview, swimsuit and evening gown.
As Mrs. Maryland America, Chang will compete on the national stage at the Mrs. America Pageant, held in Las Vegas this November. The next Mrs. America will move onto the coveted Mrs. World pageant in early 2022.
