It’s Clear the Shelters Week from August 23-31. Adoption fees are waived, but appointments must be made!

Dog of the Week – MAX

Age: 1 year

Color: White & Brown

Breed: Bull Terrier Mix

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $25 (then $0 from 8/23-8/31 at 6pm)

Hi, my name is Max and I’m a Bull Terrier just like the Target dog! Wanna be pals? Yeah, I thought so! Just look at my sweet face, how could you say no? I’m a 1-year-old energetic pup that loves attention. I can jump high, I love to swim, and I adore snuggling. I am a social butterfly and quickly make friends with all the humans at the shelter. Are you looking for a swimming partner? I’ll teach you how to do the front crawl! Then once we are finished with our pool party, we can snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie together. If you’re in search of a lifelong friend, email [email protected] to make your appointment.

Come adopt me please.

Cat of the Week – SNICKERS

Age: 3 years

Color: Calico

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix

Gender: Female

Adoption Fee: $25 (then $0 from 8/23-8/31 at 6pm)

Greetings, kind human! My gold, black and white “calico” coat earned me the name Snickers, and I’m a staff and volunteer favorite. If I were a candy, I’d definitely be a cinnamon fireball because when I arrived here at the shelter, I was pretty spicy, but with lots of love from everybody, I’ve morphed into a sweet and cheerful little girl! Here’s some fun facts about calicos: due to genetics, we’re primarily females; there’s a 3,000 to 1 chance of a calico being a male! We also became the state cat of Maryland in 2001 because our distinctive colors echo the MD flag colors of red, white, black and gold. If you’d like your very own cinnamon candy, please contact the shelter today – 410-836-1090 or [email protected] – to set up an appointment to meet me!

Come adopt me please.

Critter of the Week – TWEEDLE

Age: 2 years

Color: Brown

Breed: Rabbit

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $25 (then $0 from 8/23-8/31 at 6pm)

Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend – and hey, so am I! I’m Tweedle, a big bun-bun with a great big fun-lovin’ personality. I love tossing my toys in the air, exploring and having my long ears stroked. Anyway, my perfect match would be someone who loves bunnies, has lots of toys, has the occasional carrot or romaine leaf for me, and keeps me inside with them. Contact the shelter – 410-836-1090 or [email protected] – to set up a time to meet me!

Come adopt me please.
