This week we are proud to feature Healthy Harford as our Non-Profit of the Week.

Healthy Harford is the Healthy Communities Initiative of the northern Chesapeake. A non-profit 501c3, we are a coalition of local government agencies, businesses, non profits, and citizens dedicated to improving the health of Harford County residents.

Founded in 1993 by community leaders from the Harford County Health Department, Harford County Government, and Upper Chesapeake Health, we are guided by the following:

Mission:  Inspire and empower healthy people, healthy families, and healthy communities in mind, body, and spirit

Vision:  To make Harford County the healthiest community in Maryland

Focus:  To improve health and wellness in Harford County by promoting healthy lifestyles, building community partnerships, and addressing social determinants of health.

About our Features of the Week:

One of our goals is to help raise awareness for several different causes, diseases and more. Each week we feature a Non-Profit of the Week for you, so please visit these organizations and share their information.
