Town of Bel Air Addresses Mental Health

0

The Town of Bel Air and the Police Department partnered with the Volun-Teen organization to promote positivity in the Community.

Signs have been placed along Main Street in Bel Air with inspirational and encouraging words. These signs will remain until the end of May.  May is nationally recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month.

“We generally do not allow signs to be posted in this manner, but when the Volun-teen organization (an arm of the Lions Club) reached out to encourage our community we jumped right on it, it has been a tough time for many, and we want our town to know we care about them.”  Patti Parker, Community and Public Relations for the Town of Bel Air.
