Thanks to our Sponsors, Harford County Living is able to operate and provide you with good positive news, events, podcasts, features and a lot more. We want to shine the spotlight on our Sponsors and let you know about the great products and services they provide.
This week we are shining the spotlight on one of our Bush Level Sponsors, Joppatowne Lions Club
The Joppatowne Lions Club was charted on January 7, 1965 with 30 members. Their mission is to empower volunteers to serve the community, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote understanding. As part of Lions International, they are one of the largest service club organization in the world.
The Joppatowne Lions Club is based out of Robert Copenhaver Park in Joppatowne. Robert Copenhaver was a Charter Member in 1965 and maintained the park which at the time was known as Foster Branch Park. The building in the park was paid for and constructed by the Club and Robert Copenhaver’s efforts so impressed then County Executive Charles Anderson, that he proclaimed 11 December 1975 as ‘Robert Copenhaver Day’ in Harford County.
Help us support this local business by liking and/or following their Social Media Pages and inviting your friends to do the same.
