WHFC Spring Membership Drive
Drive begins Monday, April 19th
WHFC 91.1FM, Harford Community College Radio, will hold its Spring Membership Drive from Monday, April 19 through Friday, April 30.
“Our goal is to invite the community in. Eventually, that will be in person, but for now our listeners can financially support all the amazing new things happening here,” says Terry Trouyet, Interim Station Coordinator.
Past drives have allowed WHFC to upgrade their transmitter, acquire new programming and initiate the change to an AAA format. The aim of the Spring Membership Drive is to kickstart plans for a WHFC Learning Lab, which will provide training and education to any student or community member who has interest in radio. The Learning Lab will also offer workforce training for those pursuing a broadcast career, and some contributions will defray the cost of new, industry standard technology.
