Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties invites the community and surrounding counties to sign up for their “Scaveganza” event on Mothers Day weekend, Friday, May 7 through Sunday, May 9, 2021. Participants can register online at http://bgcharfordcecil.org/scaveganza/.

“Scaveganza”, presented by Harford Mutual Insurance Group, is a new exciting three-day scavenger hunt exploring Harford County. The event will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs and local small businesses in Harford County. Registration for the event is $10 per person with teams of two and four. Teams will complete a series of missions visiting local businesses and landmarks. Each mission will be sent out and completed through the Scaveganza game app, allowing
teams to snap a photo, record a video, check in via GPS, or answer trivia questions. The top team will walk away with over $1,000 in gift cards to participating local small businesses. All participants will receive a complimentary event T-shirt.

The scavenger hunt will go live at noon on Friday, May 7, and conclude at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 9.

“The great thing about Scaveganza is that we have all types of missions around the county– meaning it’s a fun event for any and everyone,” said Derek DeWitt, Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties Executive Director. “With over 60 small businesses participating as mission locations, opportunities abound to shop small. Happy hunting”
