MaGerk’s will donate a portion of your bill and Sonipak will donate a portion of the calendar proceeds to this year’s local nonprofit recipient, Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding (CTR).
CTR, established in 2003, encourages healing and celebrates life with individuals and groups whose minds bodies and spirits will benefit from the transformative connection between people and horses. CTR’s certified staff and trained volunteers are dedicated to serving individuals and groups through customized innovative programming that occurs year-round.
You may recall Sonipak’s debut calendar in 2016, Red Planks of Harford County, which started it all, capturing the county’s historic barns. In the years that followed, Tides, Trails and Treasures of Harford County focused on the scenic state parks and waterways, Divine History of Harford County, featured some of the county’s most historic places of worship. For 2019, native wild animals graced the months with Wild Things of Harford County. For the fifth anniversary celebration, Sonipak circled back to their inaugural theme once again in Red Planks 2 as the county’s rural countryside is rich in history.
This coming year’s theme captures our county’s equestrian lifestyle. Harford County is not only the home of Maryland’s oldest thoroughbred farm, dating back to 1933 but showcases the equestrian lifestyle that is so richly part of our county’s heritage and beautiful, pastoral culture. Photographed through the creative eye of Lisie Veloso, from Caught by a Flash, these breathtaking selected calendar photos will be on display during the release party and the canvases will be gifted to each horse owner following the event.
With each new calendar, a select nonprofit is featured and supported, which Sonipak has proudly done with each publication they produce. “Creating a beautiful annual publication, striving to bring the community together and encouraging family and visitors to get out and discover what Harford County is all about” is Sonipak’s calendar mantra.
Local businesses and organizations have joined Sonipak to be part of this one-of-a-kind artistic calendar. Some advertisers this year are:
James C. Wilson Excavating, Anchor Mechanical, Silver-Top Manufacturing, Jarrettsville Federal Savings and Loan, C & L Excavating, Harford Transit LINK, BCV Commercial Realty, Jarvis Appliance, Rockfield Manor, The Breast Center UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Town of Bel Air, Singer Auto and Tire Center, Harford County, Maryland, Winter Wonderland in Bel Air, Molly Hill Farm, Hip Hop Tales, Branded Magna Wave Therapy, DreamCatch Equine, Sinatra Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding at Berkley Farm, SBF Mustang Eventing, Thompson Moving and many more!
Sonipak is excited to have two wonderful new partners: The Mill joins them as their Title Partner for the 2021 calendar. What a perfect match as The Mill provides not only highquality products for horses but has on staff Equine Specialists available to assist horse owners and their veterinarians in making the best choices for their horse. And, the party would not be complete without those Swag Bags, sponsored by Freedom Federal Credit
Union! Sonipak also welcomes back some longtime sponsors too! WXCY, Harford’s Heart Magazine and Harford County Living continue to show support as their media sponsors year after year and MaGerk’s Pub and Grille joins them again as the Calendar Release Party sponsor, hosting this much-anticipated event.
Distribution of this free calendar around the county and beyond will begin the week of Thanksgiving. Visit www.sonipakdesign.com (after November 10th) to discover a distribution location near you.
