Donation made by Aberdeen High School Alumni
On Monday, January 27, 2020, Aberdeen High School Alumni Classes of 1969 and 1970 and The Mind Band donated $5,635 to the Aberdeen High School Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program.
This donation will help to cover training fees for teachers and staff. These training sessions will allow teachers to expand the AVID program/practices within the school. The donation will also help fund field trips and stoles for graduating AVID seniors.
For more information about the AVID program, including volunteer and donation opportunities, please contact AVID District Director Rebecca Pensero ([email protected]), AVID Site Coordinator Laura Garfinkel ([email protected]), or Aberdeen High School Principal Michael Quigg ([email protected]).
