Harford Mutual Insurance Company (Harford Mutual) announces Wayne Gearhart as Assistant Vice President of Claims. Gearhart began his insurance career in claims before moving onto various claims leadership and strategic roles for the past 24 years. Over his career, he has led claims operations, with staff sizes of 30 to more than 100, covering workers’ compensation, casualty, and property lines. In the past several years, Wayne has also served as a Claims Strategy Leader, responsible for directing and executing Claims Department strategies including supporting business processes and technological improvements using internal and external resources. This allows him to bring a wealth of claims expertise and strategic vision to lead claims operations.
Gearhart earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Ohio State University and received his CPCU designation in 1999.
