MRA Property Management, Inc. (MRA PMI) celebrates its 30th Anniversary in October. Founded in 1989 in Bel Air, Maryland, MRA PMI offers full-service property management, as well as financial only service of residential and commercial properties. MRA PMI represents over 200 communities across Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

From its original office location in Harford County, MRA PMI expanded and relocated its Bel Air operation to a new larger office space in Abingdon in 2013. In 2018, Noreen Walden, CMCA, AMS, was promoted to President. Walden has been with the company since 2003 and previously served as MRA’s Vice President from 2014 to 2017. In 2005, Walden earned her CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation through the Community Association Institute (CAI), and in 2006 earned her AMS (Association Management Specialist) designation.

Fred Traut, Vice President, earned his CMCA and AMS as well as the highest CAI designation of PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager). To earn the PCAM credential, managers must have five years of community association management experience and complete more than 100 hours of course work. In addition, credentialed PCAMs must fulfill continuing education and service requirements, as well as adhere to a code of ethics.

MRA PMI is a member of the national and the Chesapeake Regional Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). MRA PMI was one of the first management companies in Harford and Cecil Counties to obtain the Accredited Association Management Company designation from CAI and is one of fewer than 250 management companies worldwide who have earned this highest level of professional recognition in the community association management field.

“I’m very proud of our commitment over the past 30 years to the communities we serve,” says President Noreen Walden. “We provide skilled and professional management to associations of all sizes so their residents can feel confident of their investment. We are poised to remain strong and stable for the future and excited to continue to be a reliable resource to our clients and their residents.”
