With help from some national celebrities, Harford County, Maryland has released a music video for National Recovery Month in September. The video brings together hundreds of local citizens to celebrate substance-free living and includes cameo appearances by Cal Ripken Jr., Qadry Ismail, and “Tonight Show” comedian Dion Flynn, all of whom have local ties. Also featured are individuals who suffered with addiction and are now sharing the joys of life in recovery. This inspiring video is intended to remove stigma, show community support, and send the powerful message that recovery is possible.
