
3rd Annual Pet Festival Taking Place Saturday, June 8, 2019
The Joppatowne Lions Club will be holding their third annual Pet Festival this Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Robert Copenhaver Park located at 664 Trimble Road in Joppatowne, Maryland. Registration starts at 10:00 and the following events will take place during the Festival:
11:00 – Costume Parade – Pets wearing costumes will be walked around for the Judges to pick out the three best costumes. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
12:00 – Owner/Pet Look Alike Contest – Owners and their pets will line before the Judges so they can determine the top 3 that resemble each other. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
1:00 – Best Trick Contest – Pets will take turns performing tricks and again, the Judges will pick the top 3. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

The Joppatowne Lions Club and the Joppa-Magnolia LEO Club will have food and beverages on hand for purchase. The Humane Society of Harford County will have cats on site ready for adoption and there will also be several Vendors on hand such as:

Darwin, an African Spur Thigh Tortoise will be walking the grounds making sure that everything is taken care of.
Please bring new socks to the event as well. The Joppa-Magnolia LEO Club will be collecting them for the homeless.
