Middle Schoolers Helping Homeless

Three Young Ladies Discuss Their Project “Homeless Not Hopeless”

It’s great to see young people volunteering and making a difference. We talk about it all the time, whether it’s Scouts, LEOs, We Cancerve or any other group, we’re seeing more and more youngsters helping others. And on June 9th, we encourage everyone to go to the Homeless Not Hopeless Workshop that these three young ladies are putting on.

On this episode of Harford County Living, Rich Bennett and Lyle Garitty talk with 3 young ladies from Girl Scout Troop 5959 about their “Homeless Not Hopeless” Project. Alexia, Randee and Lily explain what the project is and the Silver Award.
