Harford County Commission for Women Plans Community Conversation on Human Sex Trafficking

The Harford County Commission for Women will hold a community conversation to discuss human sex trafficking, with insights from law enforcement, victim advocates, and victims. This important conversation is open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29 at the New Destiny Evangelistic Church, 2080 Trimble Road, in Edgewood. 

The evening will feature a panel including professionals from the FBI, Maryland State Police, Harford County Sheriff’s Office, and SARC – the Sexual Abuse Resource Center in Harford County. Discussions will include a trauma-informed approach by law enforcement in sex trafficking cases, information about how predators groom victims, legislation, prevention and recovery. Audience members will also be invited to ask questions.
